GODBLESSKHAN is an independent streetwear label. Most people know it as GBK. The store trades as Ambitious Blessings, and the three names all point at the same thing: clothing made for people who are building something.

The label exists at the intersection of ambition, faith and creativity. Those aren't decorative words. They're the actual subject matter. Look at the range and the vocabulary repeats itself: Be Blessed, Chain of Ambition, Spoils of Ambition, Eye of Ambition, Double My Ambition, Miracles, Praise, Hope, Covering, The Book of Khan. Each piece is a line from the same conversation, about wanting more and being grateful for what's already arrived.

What we make

The GBK range covers graphic tees, boxy long sleeves, mesh and drawstring shorts, striped rugby knitwear and distressed denim.

The core tees are 100% cotton at 7.1 oz, roughly 240 gsm. That's a midweight to heavyweight jersey, cut unisex with a boxy, relaxed body. Several styles are finished with a raw distressed hem or contrast raglan stitching, so the garment arrives already looking like it has history.

Artwork runs from hand-drawn chain and eye motifs to full-bleed graphics, appliqué and Arabic script. Nothing in the range is a blank with a logo dropped on it.

IKIGAI

The Japanese concept of ikigai describes the thing that gets you out of bed. Your reason for being. It sits at the top of the GBK Instagram bio for a reason.

Ambition on its own is just appetite. Ikigai is ambition pointed at something. That's the distinction the label is interested in, and it's why the pieces read like affirmations rather than slogans. Only the Ambitious Survive is a warning as much as a boast.

How we work

GODBLESSKHAN sells direct. There's no wholesale layer, no department store, no middle. Drops go out through this store and through Instagram, where the community that wears the pieces documents them in the street rather than in a studio.

That's deliberate. The clothes are designed to be photographed on a pavement in a supermarket aisle at 11pm, not on a plinth.

Where to start

New to the label, start with a tee. Chain of Ambition and Be Blessed are the clearest statements of what GBK does. If you want the full silhouette, the long sleeves and the distressed denim are where the design language opens up.
